The Challenge_
During the global pandemic, the hospitality industry took a major hit during forced closures. The White Lion challenged us to boost their footfall across all areas of the business including their restaurant, gastro pub and hotel.
The Solutions_
With the re-emergence of the venue we thought it apt to refresh the brand identity. We gave the restaurant a new look and feel, as well as a new sub brand which reflected the historic nature of the venue, but with a modern twist. Along with the brand work came a fresh new interior design throughout, along with a redesigned exterior signage and offsite advertising hoardings.
Building a solid content library: capturing both photography and video of the unique venue features, key team members and stunning cuisine.
New website: with a new content library full of slick creative we strengthened the online customer experience and integrated live booking for both the restaurant and hotel, creating a site that was both visually stunning and user friendly.
Social media marketing and community management: we formulated a strategy that educated, entertained and engaged with the diverse and widespread target audience. From corporate customers looking to book a room, to the local dog walkers, we looked to stimulate demand with strategically timed creative and promotional advertising to the ideal audience.
PR: Securing features with both Cheshire Life and local media ensured some amazing coverage that showcased the vision and rebirth of The White Lion Weston.
We brokered a partnership with Cheshire Botanicals Fine Gins which saw a launch event at The White Lion brought together two great local brands and engaged with new audiences across the board.
