Here at Trinity Create we pride ourselves in having an excellent SEO strategy for all our clients! But, without knowing what Search Engine Optimisation (SEO for short) is, how would you trust us to get you where you want to be in the rankings. That is why, we have decided to write a page dedicated to our SEO services as well as, everything you need to know about it.

What is Search Engine Optimisation?

In layman’s terms SEO is simply improving your website or websites visibility on search engines such as Google, Bing and other search engines. The higher visibility your website or websites have on these search engines, the better likelihood you are to garner traction from users and eventually convert them into sales. So, it is a win-win situation for you!

How does Search Engine Optimisation work?

There are many strategies that go into SEO, from your tech SEO, to your local SEO. We can do them all! Then you have your on-site and off-site SEO work that goes into all aspects of SEO. So, let’s start by going through that!

Off-site SEO

The best way to explain what is involved in off-site SEO, is to say that this has nothing to do with any of the work on your website. In-fact, this involves everything outside of your website and on the rest of the web! When it comes to off-site SEO you’ll pretty much be doing outreach, backlink building, writing articles for other websites and inputting your links and more. Outreach is all about getting in touch with owners of websites, discussing a potential partnership with them where you exchange links and other information. Of course, those conversations are completely between the respective parties. Backlink building is one of the most important tasks of SEO, you need to decide where to effectively advertise your website through a multitude of different kinds of websites. There are a couple of things to keep an eye out for as well, these can be the domain authority of the website, how many links they already have pointing to the website, the spam score, if the website in question is generally relevant to your own. Writing articles about relevant topics to your own is always a great way to start a potential partnership. Not only that, but it helps you and your potential partner grow in the google rankings, all in all it’s a great way to rank collectively in the search engines.

On-site SEO

Coming to on-site SEO, as you would expect, this is everything to do with your website or websites. This kind of SEO can be anything from adding images to your websites, writing content or going into the more technical side and fixing redirect issues and filling out meta descriptions. So, let’s talk a bit more about the on-site SEO world. When thinking about content, most people think about videos and maybe writing, however, content is a generalisation. Content can be anything from images, videos, words, links and just about anything you might want to add to a website. In fact, an entire website can be considered a huge piece of content. Thinking about the technical side, is when you must fill out missing data throughout a website, from missing alt tags to meta descriptions. All you need to do is write a little explanation of the page for google or image, doing this is necessary as search engines are algorithms and not people. There are many other technical issues that you can go through, but these are some of the simplest to fix and don’t take too much brain power to work out. Spacing out your content with images doesn’t just make it easier to read, but also helps with your SEO as well. Gone are the days where we just read walls of text, images are even replacing text as you can create infographics which are a great piece of online artistic content.

Why is SEO important?

If you are looking to rank your website in an organic way, then Search Engine Optimisation is the strategy of choice. Of course, there are many ways to attract people to your website and convert them into customers, however, SEO is the proven technique that continues giving when you start to get to where you want to be. SEO is a constantly changing field as well. As the algorithms for search engines change and update, so do the strategies of SEO gurus. So, you can expect that most SEO gurus have to be quite proactive with their work as well as research a heck of a lot. You can probably realise that the foundation for a lot of online marketing was search engine optimisation, even some search engines like Google started the PPC type of marketing that we see today. With trillions of searches being conducted every year, you can imagine that SEO is an extremely important part of marketing.
